This Sunday I played hooky from being a wife and mom and it was GREAT!
Despite snow and dicey driving conditions, I picked up my cousin J and we went out for a day of fun. We started out at The Local for good wine, good food and great company. We then went to The Paint Bar. If you have a similar establishment in your area, I suggest going-it is such fun! They lead you step by step through the process of painting. I am not an artistic person and it is so great to leave at the end of the class with something fun to hang on the wall.
This class' subject was "Turquoise Owl".

If you live in the Boston area, The Paint Bar has establishments in Newton, MA and on Newbury Street. Go and have a great time!
