The Turtle & The Hare

I'm a turtle.

My weight loss progress has been slow, but it has been steady.  I have been dieting for one month and losing 1 pound/week.  I'll take it!

More importantly to me, I am improving on my quest to return to running! (I just feel so much better when I am running regularly)



I am using the 5K Runner app and I really like it-keeps me motivated.  In this too I am a turtle.  I may not run fast, but I make it to the finish line just fine :)

Today is a 25 minute run and then my weekly weigh in, wish me luck!

  2. This is great! I run too...or jog I should say. It's barely faster than a speed walk! But I keep at it and feel proud each and every time I do get out there! I started running at 40 :) So happy to have you join the party!

  3. Slow is good. Last year I lost a bunch quickly and gained it back quickly. This year I am trying to make small changes and take the slower loss and hope it is something I can live with forever. Dropped by from Blog Bulge.
